Amphibian Centre

Frogs and toads are exhibiting at Amphibian Exhibit which is located in the aquarium. It was opened in 2009 and make aware the public to find out more about amphibians and their captive keeping.

Currently there are three tanks in display, where 6 species are exhibited in their near natural conditions. There you will see some endemic frog species such as Polypedates cruciger.

    • Indian Skipper Frog (Euphlyctis cyanophlyctis)
    • Common Paddyfield Frog (Fejervarya limnocharis)
    • Jerdon's Bullfrog (Hoplobatrachus crassus)
  • Shrub-frogs {Ranidae (Rhacophorinae)}
    • Common Shrub Frog (Philautus popularis)
    • Common Hourglass Tree Frog (Polypedates cruciger)
