Butterfly Garden

Though there are so many butterflies flying throughout the zoo Butterfly park is the place where visitors should visit to see different varieties of butterflies in a beautifully landscaped area. This park is enclosed by a net; visitors could walk through along the pathways; whispering of water fall generate sounds of the nature; flowering plants and feeding plants of butterflies make this place more attractive. Around 30 species of butterflies could observe here. In addition to the natural nectar, butterflies are fed with artificially provided bee honey, fruit juice and also fresh fruit pieces are provided to suck juice to fulfill their feeding requirements. The humidity and the temperature of the butterfly garden are completely maintained during the hot hours by spraying water from the roof to cool down the environment. There is a breeding section annexed to the butterfly garden which is not allowed to the public as to keep the place undisturbed.
